Special Performances by Larry Luckinbill – Born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Laurence Luckinbill graduated from the University of Arkansas Drama Department in1956 and earned his MFA in Playwriting from the Catholic University of America in 1958. A Tony nominee (The Shadow Box) and a recipient of the New York Critic’s Circle Award (The Memory Box), he works extensively as both as an actor, writer, and director for the stage and screen.
Luckinbill’s humorous, complex, and heartfelt one-man scripts examine the lives of iconic men whose challenges and struggles are as relevant today as they have ever been. On Saturday, June 23rd, he will perform a reading of his one of his favorite and most famous works, Teddy! based upon the life and adventures of President Theodore Roosevelt.
